Unity Cuts Both Ways

As we close our sermon series journeying through the Apostle Paul’s letter to the Romans, we recognize the tangible implications of Paul’s words for our current cultural climate. There is much in society that divides us from one another and we can learn from Paul who tries to unite a similar divide. The challenge for us, is that Paul’s words are not one sided; he does not condemn one group. Instead, Paul argues that both have to come to the table in the spirit of unity. How do we as a people that are tempted with division, come to the shared Table of Christ and treat one another with respect and dignity?
