Live the Story – Easter
On the first Easter morning, the faithful women who gathered at the tomb were not ready to see the risen lord. They went to the tomb with their grief and their pain and they wondered “who will roll the stone away?” That stone represented their fear, pain and loss and it was, as the Gospel says, “very large?” What is the large, immovable, unshakable stone that stands between you and healing, you and love, you and God? Do we have the courage to ask, “who will roll the stone away?”
The hope of Easter morning is that the stone has been rolled away, that what stands between us and God, us and hope, has been rolled away. God invites us to live into the journey of hope, healing, reconciliation and love. God has invited us to come and see that Christ has risen!
